Persian [پارسی] iOS 5-6 Keyboard

Follow these steps to enable persian keyboard on iOS 5&6 with or without a jailbreak.
If you have backed up your device, after doing these steps and want to restore or update your iDevice, you do not need to follow these steps again. Just restore from the latest backup on iCloud or iTunes.

Jailbreak Method
Step 1.
- For iOS6 add chronzz.mobi to Cydia (if you dont know how follow this guide)
- For iOS5 add ios5.chronzz.mobi to Cydia (if you dont know how follow this guide)
Do not install iOS5 Repo on iOS6. you will have problems. For iOS6 add iOS6 repo & for iOS5 add iOS5 Repo. If you have iOS5 and have chronzz.mobi in your source delete it.
- For iOS6 Find and Install [Persian iOS6 Keyboard or Persian iOS 6 Keyboard and Calendar. (Includes Hijri Calendar)]
- For iOS5 Find and Install [Persian iOS5 Keyboard]
Jailbreak Method via SSH
Step 1.
- For iOS6 add chronzz.mobi to Cydia (if you dont know how follow this guide)
- For iOS5 add ios5.chronzz.mobi to Cydia (if you dont know how follow this guide)
Step 2.
- SSH into your iDevice
ssh root@ipaddress
Step 3.
apt-get update
step 4.
apt-get install com.chronzz.persianios5
step 5.
killall -HUP SpringBoardNon Jailbreak Method
Step 1.
- First you need to backup your iDevice with iTunes
Step 2.
- Download iBackUpBot for your System
Step 3.
- Open iBackupBot and find the backup you just made, then load it.
Step 4.
- Find
Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences.plist
- and open the file. (if your software isn’t registered you’ll have to press cancel and then it will open)
Step 5.
- Find
<key>AppleKeyboards</key>
- and after
- add the following code
<string>fa@hw=Persian;sw=Persian</string>
- make sure it looks like the screenshot
If you don’t want Persian Locale (Hijri Calendar), move to step 6
Optional step to activate persian locale
- Using the same file
Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences.plist
- scroll down and find
<key>AppleLocale</key>
<string>en_CA</string>
- and change the string to
fa
- after
<key>AppleLocale</key>
<string>fa_IR@calendar=persian</string>
Step 6.
- Restore your iDevice using iBackupBot, right click on your backup file and select Restore
Step 7.
- Reboot your phone and you should have persian keyboard activated.
